UX/UI designer, illlustrator, artist

Hi, I'm one of the designers...

Here is what I do:

I have worked on some award winning projects for clients such as:

Universal Records (and a veritable who's who list of their breakthrough, established and international artists), the Pope, MTV Networks, Arts Council England, V & A Museum, Dell Financial Services, Sandisk, Andrex, esure, Sheilas' Wheels, More Th>n, Churchill, Family Investments, Mattel, Nikon, National Car Rental, SSSL, i-Salon to name but a few.

Visual diary drawings:

The Visual Diary drawings project now in its twentieth year.

That is almost 7,200 individual drawings, paintings and artworks.

In 1996, I happened to find an unused diary from 1969.

In which I found that I had started to make a drawing a day, a process which evolved into a drawing about that day's experiences.

It has ended up a Visual Diary artist book project which I have been working on ever since.

I now have amassed twenty years worth of individual artworks, each using a variety of different styles and formats.

The project allows me to make a variety of colourful and multi-faceted narrative drawings and paintings using a combination of watercolour, gouache, inks, collage, Letraset, found elements, verse or prose, as well as with various computer, photographic and video based means.

I am looking to explore what else I can do with this project, eg: make derivative art pieces, exhibitions and installations, wall designs, (miniature) theatre sets, artist films and animations, interactive experiences etc.

Artworks/commissions have been exhibited in art galleries, theatres, and have been permanantly installed in hospitals and commercial businesses.

Animations have been exhibited within an international group initiative.

This has been taken on a gallery/educational tour around England as well as places in America, the Middle East and India. My film was often used as the opening animation.

Talks on drawing and animation have been given in schools, art galleries, Arts Council England national events and animation talks in the British Film Institute, London.
